Governance Workflow

Pen-X uses Snapshot for governance voting.
Voting proposals at Pen-X are called Pen-X Improvement Proposals (PIPs). PIPs are voted on weekly between Tuesday 21:00 UTC and Thursday 21:00 UTC.
PIP Procedure
They go through the following stages:
1.Prepared by Senators
2.Presented at Town Hall meeting
3.Published on Pen-X Snapshot Page​
4.Voted on for 48 hours
5.Results published on Discord
PIP ID Convention
PIPs all use the name ID naming conventions:
PIP-[YEAR][QUARTER][PIP NUMBER THIS QUARTER]
For example:
PIP-223028 would be the 28th PIP in the 3rd quarter of 2022.
